Tom Masterman, Founder and Owner
Tom has spent 15 years launching products and driving revenue in digital media and technology. At Top of Mind, he leads client engagements with a particular focus on go-to-market strategy and revenue pipeline development. Tom was the founding sales and marketing executive for SportsData, which sold in 2013 to global leader Sportradar. His clients included Google, Facebook and Turner Sports. Previously, Tom co-founded a startup at the University of Minnesota focused on social media sentiment analysis and content crowdsourcing. Tom also spent nine years at Internet Broadcasting, in management roles ranging from analytics to multimedia production, for clients including NBC, Hearst and CNN. Tom started his career at ABC affiliate WCVB-TV, where he was an Emmy-nominated television producer. He holds a Communication degree from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
